Block Domino Games
Block Games
There are three basic types of domino games - block games, point games, and domino games based on card games. The common characteristic that the various block games share is that all scoring occurs after a hand is completed. Typically, the object of the game is to get rid of all your tiles (to "go domino"), or to end up with the lowest possible number of points in your hand. If you win the hand, you'll receive all the points in your opponents hands.
There is a large variety of block games, ranging from the simple to the more complex. Block games can be played with various numbers of players, from 2 to 10 or so, and with double-six, double-nine, double-twelve, double-fifteen, and double-eighteen domino sets.
